It is powered by the heart and forms the body’s distribution system to organs with oxygen, hormones and essential nutrients that help it function properly. Heart pumps the blood to various parts of body. Our heart beats 70-72 times per minute and pulse is 70-72 times per minute. The normal blood pressure is 120/80 of Hg. The blood carries so many cells, nutrients and respiratory gases. The Red Blood Cells(RBC’s) have a life span of 120 days, White Blood Cells(WBC’s) have a life span of 10-15 days, platelets in our body have a life span of 5-9 days.
The nervous system helps us to perceive, comprehend, and respond to the environment around us. It consists of brain, spinal cord and the nerves. Nerves carry the signal from brain to various organs and parts and vice- versa.
