Pioneer of Dental Industry Dr B.S. Shetty speaking at EXPODENT DELHI 2018

Dentistchannel.online had the opportunity to hear from the pioneer in Indian Dentistry , DR. B.S.Shetty a man whose wisdom is marvellous and a person who you cannot afford on missing a conversation with. Dr.Karthik Bhanushali from dentistchannel.online asked him a set of questions on different topics such as EXPODENT, Motivation, maintaining International standards in Indian Dentistry.

Q no 1- What was the vision of EXPODENT DELHI INTERNATIONAL 2018

Answer- To provide a platform for Dentist to buy, to sell, to see, to decide, to go through and witness the best technology available in the world. EXPODENT traditionally witnesses Importers, Exporters, distributors, MNC’S every year due to its immense popularity in India. EXPODENT DELHI INDIA  is the single largest platform in India where you can see anything, and everything related to Dentistry.

Q no 2- What keeps you motivated every day?

Answer- EXPODENT was my vision, I had thought about this long ago and it took me years of dedicated planning and execution for you to witness such a huge Dental Exhibition in India, I have been the President of IDA for 2 years, I have been the pioneer in getting FDA to India. I then realised the need to create a single largest platform for dental professionals around India, it was not easy, and it is not easy, what keeps me going is my dedicated team and my inner spirit to Create a Global Impact through Indian Dentistry.  My success Mantra is DREAM THE IMPOSSIBLE AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE IN REAL LIFE.None of the office bearers od ADITI are paid, they all are giving their valuable time due to same vision of Helping build Dentistry purely because they love what they do.

Q no 3- How did you keep up with the International standards/ what are your views on make in India Initiative?

Answer- Talking about Make in India Initiative there’s no further thinking,WE MUST MAKE IN INDIA. Our country is blessed with skilled manpower. Around 3,50,000 Indians are in the age gap of 25-35 years which means they are young, energetic and talented. They can execute and implement anything possible. Make in India will only be possible if the old generation will support and uplift the new generation. Technology is not anybody’s property it’s a floating property which anyone in the world can acquire provided they are willing to utilise it judiciously, we should take advantage of Technology and be aggressive just like CHINA to advance in Dentistry and building a Crescendo towards being the best globally. Very soon India will be exporting the finest products in Dentistry around the globe.

Maintaining International Standards was our prime focus so that we could open doors for International Exhibitors, visitors, doctors and various other professionals in the field on Dentistry. This is reason why we had exhibitors from GERMANY, SOUTH KOREA, JAPAN, CHINA, ITALY etc this year at EXPODENT DELHI INTERNATIOAL 2018

Lastly, he added “Service to Humanity is the best Service” when you treat a patient you not only contribute towards his health but also to Dentistry.
