The launch of an Implant system can only be fruitful if everyone in the room are willing to learn and adapt to a completely new system. The launch of K3 pro Implant system from Argon Medical, Germany was successfully organized by Medevice and Indian Dental Association and was sponsored by Medevice and Argon Medical, which took place on the 25th of January,2019 at Hotel Vivana, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. The event had various highlights and agendas to its list.
The event commenced with Argon Medical’s Company Introduction and a short lecture on K3 Pro. Soon after the short Tea/coffee break the Hands-on workshop began which lasted for 120 minutes with each question answered in detail by Dr.Chandrashekar Anam ,Mr. Melvin Mendonca, International Sales Manager, Argon ,Mr.Venkata Ramana- sales head Medevice and Mr.Sasi Bhushan.The Highlight of the event was the Launch of K3 pro system which commenced at 8pm at went on till 11pm.
68 Dentist’s from all over Vishakhapatnam gathered for the event which included senior dentist’s sparing some time to understand a new Implant system for the betterment of their patients. The event was introduced by Dr.Gautam, Executive member and Dr.Chandra Shekhar, Secretary IDA Vishakhapatnam. The event was taken over by Dr.Chandrashekar Anam with a unique lecture on Implant Abutment connection. He added the difficulties and the hassle he had to face in his 13 years as an Implantologist and how he brightly shifted to K3Pro System due to its unique longest conical connection.
All the dentists sitting were amazed to hear about the reality behind K3 pro Implants System and flexible prosthetics Solution and thanked Dr.Anam and Mr.Sasi for arranging such an eye opening event in the field of Implant Dentistry.
Productive networking conversations took place during the coffee break with Dentists themselves sharing some valuable information with regards to Dental Implants and the potential which Indian Market carries for K3 pro Implant System due to its quality, precision and pricing.
The hands-on workshop had around 40 Dentist’s understanding the K3 pro Implant System with dummies made of foam mandibles. They were flabbergasted to see the K3 pro Rapid Smart Kit and appreciated the simplicity behind it. They couldn’t believe the fact that peculiar advantage of using the Implant system was that harvesting of the bone with bone expanding latch reamers needs only 50 RPM to expand osteotomy without irrigation which not only reduces bone heat but stress as well due to slow drilling.
The event would not have been possible without the presence of Dr.Raja V Murthy, Professor and Head, Periodontics at Geetam Dental College Vishakhapatnam, who inaugurated the launch of K3 pro. The event also saw senior members of Dentistry namely Dr.Sridhar Bitra, Dr.Sathish, Dr.Y Sirisha.
Mr.Mendonca was honoured by Dr.Vijay Kumar Raju and Dr.Rajesh with a token of appreciation from the Indian Dental Association (IDA).
A tiring day cannot be complete without some delicious South Indian styled Dinner and cocktails with conversations and hence Dr.Anam announced the buffet. Each and every guest appreciated the event for the learning and great hospitality offered.
