National Level Dental Quiz Competition: QUIZ-A-THON
Dental students! Here’s something very exciting for you during these unprecedented times of COVID-19 lockdown. Dental Students Welfare Association of India (DSWAI) and Dental Surgeons Association of India (DSAI) are organizing a one of its kind NATIONAL LEVEL DENTAL QUIZ CALLED “QUIZ-A-THON”.

About (DSWAI) & (DSAI)

Dental Students Welfare Association of India (DSWAI) and Dental Surgeons Association of India (DSAI) serves the community with the motive of making everyone smile. It is a group of association for budding dentist and young dental surgeons, who are on a mission to do something extraordinary for the betterment of the society. “A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”. Under the able guidance and leadership of Dr.Chandresh Shukla, Dr Jatin Aneja ,Dr Robin Malik, the association came into existence in the year 2014, with the aim of creating milestones & opportunities for the future leaders of the country.

DSWAI & DSI has since then organized several successful national & International level events for the dental student community in India. Dental Students are the future of our country and molding the future leader in them is what the association strives for!

The association’s main motto is to enlighten budding dentist and young dental surgeons with their duties towards the society as a dentist. The consistent guidance and support of Dr.Jatin Aneja and Dr.Akhilesh Tripathi (Campaign Coordinator ) gives each member an opportunity to freely bring forth a platform to participate, innovate, lead and learn. Due to the determination, positive motivation and hours of meticulous planning, the leaders of the student body Dr.Neha Gaur (National Secretary,DSWAI), Nandlal Pandey (National Joint Secretary, DSWAI) and Aakash Srivastava (National Joint Scientific Officer, DSWAI) took on the responsibility and designed co-academic activities for students who aspire to go that extra mile. The National Level Quiz Competition is beautifully designed, well thought upon and aims to give dental students an opportunity to compete with fellow students from the entire country. A battle of knowledge & skill, The QUIZ-A-THON is one such event dental students shouldn’t miss participating. After all, it’s an event where you get to compete with thousands of bright minds all on a mission to bag the prestigious title as the “Winners” of the coveted event.

About the National Level QUIZ-A-THON

QUIZ-A-THON is a multi-phase competition starting off with:

PHASE 1-SCREENING ROUND

An MCQ based round having a criterion of 75% as the passing percentage to qualify for the next round.

PHASE 2-AUDIO VISUAL ROUND

A round designed to best suit the education peculiarities and considerations while nurturing our young dental students touching all the areas of 5-year program.

With the jury comprising of International Dentist, brace yourselves for a strong battle.

PHASE 3- THE ULTIMATE BATTLE

With the best performers advancing their way till the finals, the finish line will have a mix of both theory and practical knowledge as the testing criteria. A dentist at the end of the day is not just a tooth specialist but one to warn with diagnosis of early oral manifestations of deadly diseases. As the saying goes:
