Prof. Dr. Akshay Bhargava graduated from Bapuji Dental College, Davangere in 1992 and completed his Master’s Degree (MDS) in Prosthodontics including Crown and Bridge and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in 1995 from the same institution.

Dr. Bhargava is an Associate Fellow & Active member since 2012 of the coveted American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID) Chicago USA, Double Diplomate from International College of Implantology (FICOI) USA and World  Congress of Oral Implant ology, (WCOI) Japan (2016). He is a Fellow of International College of Dentists (FICD) USA.

He is Post-Graduate teacher with 20 years of   Academic & Clinical experience.

Currently Dr Bhargava runs his practice ( Raahat Dental Clinic) with Dr Renu Bhargava  in Dwarka, New Delhi . He conducts’ motivational and educational programmes for the professionals

Dr Akshay bhargava is the DEAN of Santosh Dental College, Santosh deemed to be University, Ghaziabad
He was appointed (1997) as a Scientist for the Development of Indigenous Dental Implants in Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Govt. of India

Dr Bhargava after working as a teacher for Under Graduates & Post Graduates in various Institutes, was appointed as the Head of Prosthetic and Implantology Dept. at ITS dental college where he taught and conducted various Implantology and prosthetic courses for 12 yrs.

Prof. Dr. Akshay Bhargava had been the Dean, Prof. and Head of Department of Prosthodontics for Faculty of Dental Sciences, at, SGT UNIVERSITY, Gurgaon.

He has been the Director PG STUDIES and Principal at ITS dental college, greater Noida till August 2018

He has to his credit more than two dozen Research and Publications.

On Research Gate Dr Bhargava has 85 Citations and 2600 reads of his publications

He is contributory author for two leading Dental Material text Books (Notes On Dental Materials, authors – V.K. Subbarao, Publishers – G. Offset, Bangalore, 1996., Basic Dental Materials author – John .J. Manappallil, Publishers – Jaypee Brothers Medical Publisher (P) Ltd., 1998).

He has guided more than 60 RESEARCH STUDIES including PROJECTS from Indian Council of Medical Research related To Zirconia, Implants, Dental Materials, Biomechanical and Structural Analysis etc.

In recognition to his contribution to International College Of Dentists-Dr Akshay was conferred the prestigious Dr. Ratan H. Memorial Award ICD Section VI (India, Nepal & Srilanka ) in Dec. 2014

Dr Akshay has conducted many workshops and courses on CAD CAM, All Ceramics, Cast Partials, Maxillofacial, and Prosthodontics. He has also organized national workshops and conferences and has been part of the organizing team in many international conferences. He was the Organising Secretary of 15th IPS PG Convention, 2013, he was recently the Scientific Chairperson for WCOI, 2016.

He’s been the VICE PRESIDENT INDIAN PROSTHODONTIC SOCIETY (2016-2017)

He was the Section Editor for Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society

Currently he’s the reviewer for International Journal of Dental Research, Journal Of Indian Prosthodontic Society and peer reviewer for many journals in various Institutes.

In Digital Prosthodontics Dr Akshay is a trainer in CAD Designing. He is a Mentor for Roland digital. He also a mentor for leading Implant Systems, and has conducted many Certificate courses in Implant Dentistry, at National & International levels.

He has been the Programme In-charge & Counsellor for IGNOU- Post Graduate Course for Oral Implantology. He has been the speaker for a leading CAD–CAM milling CNC Company in India. He has visited Africa, Germany, China, USA, Israel, and Europe for contributing and gaining professional exposure.
