Har Ghar Tiranga – How to Hoist Virtual Flag

India is all set to celebrate its 75th Independence Day – Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. As part of this nationwide celebration, a mass campaign called ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is being observed. This campaign symbolises the personal connection to the Tiranga and also embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

How to hoist/ pin Virtual Flag ?

Are you aware that you can also hoist a flag virtually by pinning the flag to your location ? Yes, this is a unique idea brought about by Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Steps to hoist virtual flag:

  1. Log on to harghartiranga.com
  2. Click on ‘Pin a flag’
  3. Enter your details – Name, Mobile number
  4. Allow access to your location
  5. Now you can pin the flag to your location
  6. Once you are done, you get the option to download a certificate of appreciation for taking part in Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Step 3: Pin the flag to your location

Step 4: Download your certificate

Step 5: Certificate of appreciation
