Save the tooth Campaign

‘You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give.’ This quote by Winston Churchill rekindles compassion and fortitude within ourselves as we’re living through the pandemic. Being healthcare professionals, dentists are privileged to serve during the pandemic by working unremittingly for the greater good. Thereby, the entire dental fraternity contributes to the improvement of holistic healthcare by saving the tooth.

Oral hygiene is overall hygiene. The oral cavity mirrors the health status of the entire body. Hence, when you ‘save the tooth’, you save your body. Research indicates that 90%of general systemic diseases manifest orally. The most common ones include diabetes, hypertension, kidney diseases, and heart diseases. It is vital for dentists hence

‘Save the tooth’
This is an undertaking initiated by the Dentist Channel Online, which seeks to highlight the significance of sharing knowledge amongst the dental fraternity. This shall also serve as a tool for enlightening patients about the problems that arise subsequently.

Dr. Saloni Mistry has taken the burden of educating fellow dentists by her audiovisual aid, by sending across a humble appeal. She’s a well-renowned Prosthodontist, alumni of GDC and Nair Hospital Dental College, currently heads the Department of Prosthodontist at Y.M.T. Dental College and hospital, Navi Mumbai.

What’s this appeal about?
She sends across a reverential message to all budding and establishing dentists for consolidation of their practice. Dentists should promote saving the tooth. This shall help to awaken the patients. She attempts to educate all fellow dentists regarding the same. It shall be intriguing when all participating dentists can send across videos about General Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Prosthodontics, Conservative and Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paedodontics, and Orthodontics. Any topic that fulfills saving the patient’s tooth. These videos could entail a vast amount of information for the patients as well as tips from fellow dentists. Dentist Channel shall provide an ingenious medium to do the same

Dentists cannot treat patients who fail to see impending diseases in the oral cavity, hence educating patients is the most important part of treatment. Save the Tooth is a campaign focused on creating awareness through informative videos on the effects of poor oral hygiene & ways to maintain healthy oral hygiene. Your small contribution to the campaign can improve smiles all over the world. All you need to do is spare 30 minutes for us and speak on any oral hygiene topic in any language.

My name is Hailey Garcia and I am from New Jersey. My herpes virus turned to war after 2 years of living with it. I have tried different medical procedures to cure my herpes but to no avail. Most people think herpes is only a minor skin irritation of which herpes has long term effects on health and passes through the bloodstream and can be easily contracted through sexual intercourse. I knew I had herpes from the first day I started feeling itchy in my pubic area and the pain was very unbearable. I couldn't stand it anymore. After 2 years of trying other means to get rid of it, I had to contact Doctor Odunga to help me with a permanent cure. I saw his email and whats-app number from a testimony I read online from a lady who was also helped by him in curing infertility problems, I had faith and contacted him. He assured me of his work and I ordered his herbal medicine. Within 5 days, I didn't feel any pain anymore and within 2 weeks, my skin was all cleared and smooth. I am very grateful to you sir and I write this testimony as others have done to bring those having faith to you sir. If you have herpes or other similar disease and you want it cured, kindly contact Doctor Odunga, Whats-App (wa.me/+2348167159012) OR Email [email protected]
