Dr. Abrar Alanzi is a Consultant Pediatric Dentist and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Preventive and Developmental Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University. She is currently the general secretary of Kuwaiti Division of IADR and participates as a lecturer in the Kuwaiti Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She earned her certificate of Pediatric Dentistry, followed by a Master of Science from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in Baltimore, United States. She has been a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2011 and an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD), American Dental Education Association, and International Association for Dental Research (IADR). She has published many scientific articles, related to preventive dentistry and children’s oral health, in well-reputed international periodicals and acts as a reviewer for some international dental journals. Also, she has participated in several dental-based volunteering trips to provide oral care for children in underserved communities in Africa and Asia.
