Endodontist

Dr. Alessio Zanza is a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a PhD student in “Innovative Technologies in Disease of Skeleton, Skin and Oro-Craniofacial District” at the University of Rome La Sapienza. He started its scientific career when He was still a student. Within a year of graduating, his curriculum counts more than 30 scientific articles in several indexed and impacted international journals. In 2021, when He was at the sixth year of degree course, He managed to publish as first author an important research on one of the most relevant journal in the field (Journal of Endodontics) titled “A Paradigm Shift for Torsional Stiffness of Nickel-Titanium Rotary Instruments: A Finite Element Analysis”, which was then selected as the cover of the corresponding journal issue n° 7. 

To date, he collected a h-index of 8 and more than 130 citations. His field of expertise is Endodontics and in particular the NiTi endodontic instruments with relating mechanical and metallurgical features.
