Dr Kshitija Rao graduated from Seth G.S.Medical College and K.E.M .Hospital,Mumbai University in 1988 and completed her postgraduation in 1990 In Anaesthesia.

Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care from Royal College of Anaesthetists, London.

In 2009, Dr Rao changed her direction to pursue the emerging field of Aesthetic Medicine and has not only established a successful clinical practice but also has trained hundreds of doctors in the last 15 years.

She is a visiting faculty at the University of Genoa,Italy and in affiliation with them has conducted courses in India, Turkey, Egypt and Algeria.

She has a keen interest in the emerging field of Aesthetic Medicine andMinimally Invasive Aesthetic procedures.

Conducted a number of workshops specifically for dental practitioners in the practice of Botulinum toxin and Dermal fillers.

Speciality is Cosmetic applications of Botulinum toxin for Anti- Ageing,Enhancement of Beauty and Myofacial Pain Disorders.

“Go Beyond Dentistry-”Lecture at New Delhi in 2014 and “Dermal Fillers Workshop “ at Laser Smiles,Agra in 2015.

Also conducted a very successful Certificate Course supported by the University of Genoa in October 2015,2016 and 2017 in Mumbai and Bengaluru.–“New Horizons in Aesthetic Dentistry”

Presented a lecture on “Botox for Chronic Myofascial Pain Disorders “at International Cosmetic Surgery Conference in Goa in Sept 2017.

Regularly writes for a number of prestigious newspapers and magazines in India and lectures extensively on the subject of “Non Surgical Rejuvenation of the face.”

Dr. Rao has a private practice and is  a Director at Perfect Image Cosmetic Clinic  inMumbai,India.

Consultant at The EterneClinic,Powai and PHI Cosmetic Clinic,Chembur

She consults as an expert on setting up a successful Cosmetic centre imparting training to doctors and their para medical staff.

Her passion is to empower young doctors to go outside their comfort zone to pursue a holistic approach in medical practice.
