Dr. Marincola graduated from “La Sapienza University” Rome, Italy in 1988 and received his doctor’s degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics in 1990. He received his Masters Degree in Stomatology from the “Center of Research and Post Graduate Studies”, Medical Academy of Rome in 1995 and his title of Implantologist from the “Order of Physicians and Dentists” in Koblenz, Germany.
Currently he serves as clinical director of the “International Center of Oral Implantology” and professor at the dental school, University of Cartagena, Colombia where he has been clinically active and a professor since 1997.
He was also a visiting professor at several dental schools like the Beijing University, Nanjing University, University of Leuven and Midwestern University.
Since 1998 he has been in charge as a scientific research coordinator for Bicon, Boston, MA, USA, and he is a co-developer of the innovative surgical and restorative techniques of the Bicon implant system together with Dr. Vincent J. Morgan, the Implant Dentistry Centre in Boston.
Dr. Marincola is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles in international dental journals. He is also an internationally recognized lecturer in Europe, Asia, USA and Latin and South America on dental implant related topics in his active languages: Italian, German, English and Spanish.
He is an active member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Orale Implantologie (DGOI), Bundesverband der implantologisch tätigen Zahnärzte (BDIZ), the European Association of Dental Implantologists (EDI) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
