Dr Monika Surana, MDS, is a Gujarat-based Maxillofacial Surgeon and Consultant at The Esthetic Clinics, currently undergoing specialty training in Facial Plastic Surgery & Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Surana has the mindset and skills that are prerequisites. for any great Surgeon especially the ones who operate in and around the Face. She has the eagle’s eye for suggesting appropriate and patient-centric treatment options in the best interest of the patients.
She has a keen interest in Surgical and Non-surgical modalities to treat patients pertaining to Maxillofacial and Cosmetic interests.
Education & Academics
She has done her BDS and MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from K. M. Shah Dental College & Hospital, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara, Gujarat. She was a Gold Medalist in her BDS as well.
She has also done observership& internship at GSR Institute of Craniofacial Surgery, Hyderabad. She has also undergone training in Head & Neck Oncology from The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
She has also undergone training for the AOCMF course for Management of Facial Trauma, BLS-ACLS course (instructor potential), Workshop on Current Advances in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, etc amongst others.
She has been an active member of various Healthcare programs and an organizing member for various conferences. She was a Faculty for the Global Cosmetic Surgery meeting held in August 2021.
She has won various accolades & prizes for paper presentations & poster presentations at various National & International conferences. She was the Youngest Speaker at the 45th Annual National Conference organized by AOMSI, Mangalore in November 2021.
