Dr. Neelam Das is a highly accomplished Periodontist with a distinguished academic and professional career. She earned her B.D.S. and M.D.S. degrees from Rama Dental College, Hospital, and Research Centre in Kanpur (UP), whereshe was a gold medalist and received the prestigious Dr. B.S. Kushwah Merit Award for her excellence in Periodontology and Implantology. She has further enhanced her expertise through numerous specialized training programs, including advanced periodontal and implantology procedures, laser dentistry, and guided bone regeneration.

   With over five years of teaching experience, she is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery, Vikarabad, Telangana, Hyderabad. Her work encompasses a broad range of clinical practices, including non-surgical periodontal therapy, periodontal flaps, soft tissue esthetics, and dental implants. She has also mentored postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers, contributing significantly to academic advancements in the field.

 She is a distinguished clinician, specializing in diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases with a focus on soft and hard tissue lasers. She holds an Associate Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI), USA, and consistently refines her skills in both conventional and advanced periodontal procedures. Throughout her academic journey, she has received numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal for Best PG Student, several national awards, and the Research Excellence Award for her outstanding contributions to research.

   An accomplished clinician and educator, she has extensive national and international publications and has authored several books. Her clinical focus lies in laser applications in periodontology, particularly low-level lasers and their integration into daily practice. She was awarded "Laser Dentist of the Year" for her contributions to the field and remains highly active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Her dedication has earned her numerous honors, including the "Educator of the Year - Below 35" (Highly Commended) at the Famdent Excellence in Dentistry Awards 2024, and the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Pierre Fauchard Academy in recognition of her impact on periodontology. She has also been a featured speaker at prominent events, such as the 46th National Conference of the Indian Society of Periodontology and the 12th World Dental Sciences & Oral Health Conference, where she shared insights on topics like periodontal regeneration.
