Dr. R.J. Vijayashree

MDS - Oral Pathalogy and Microbiology

Dr. R.J. Vijayashree is an accomplished oral pathologist with a strong academic background and a passion for research. She holds a MDS degree in Oral Pathology & Microbiology from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital and a BDS degree from Ragas Dental College & Hospital. Throughout her career, Dr.R.J.Vijayashree has received several prestigious awards, including the Dr. B. Sivapathasundharam Gold Medal Award and multiple prizes for her scientific presentations and publications. Currently, pursuing her PhD on oral microbiome in SIMATS University.

Her research interests focus on the oral microbiome, oral cancer, potentially malignant disorders, and antimicrobial activity of natural compounds. She has authored and co-authored several research papers published in reputed journals and textbook. She is also actively involved in ongoing research projects funded by MAHER University, exploring various aspects of oral health and disease. In addition to her academic achievements, she has delivered guest lectures and participated in conferences and CDE programs.

She is the Founder and Head of Shree Jayam Oral and Dental Clinic, Ambattur which has entered its successful sixth year of service.
