Dr. Shashank Vijapure

MDS (Periodontics), (PhD- Laser in Dental Implants)

Dr. Shashank Vijapure is a Board-Certified Laser Specialist by the American Board of Laser Surgery (USA) and certified in Photobiomodulation by the Academy of Laser Dentistry, USA, and in Basic Life Support by 'Illinois Safety'. He completed his BDS (2005-2010) from SDM College of Dental Sciences, Dharwad, and his MDS in Periodontology and Implantology (2012-2015) from M. S. Ramaiah Dental College, Bengaluru. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D., with research focused on vascular photobiomodulation and its clinical applications.

Dr. Vijapure has served as a consultant Periodontist & implantologist in the Fiji Islands and is currently an Assistant Professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College & Hospital, Sangli. He is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, with numerous publications,copyright and a patent to his name. A consultant laser dentist across multiple clinics and the founder of Vijapure Dental Clinic, Sangli, He was selected from India for his poster presentation at Chicago Dental Society's Mid-winter Meet 2025, he is actively involved in teaching, clinical practice, and research in lasers, implants, and periodontology.
