Dr. Swagata Saha

M.D.S. (Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry)

Dr. Swagata Saha,  is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune, India. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Manipal College of Dental Sciences and her Master of Dental Surgery in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, graduating with distinction. A Gold Medalist and recipient of the Dr. A.K. Munshi Gold Medal Endowment Award for Best Outgoing Postgraduate, she has also been honored with the Dr. Latha Anandakrishna Memorial Award for the highest number of publications by a postgraduate in high-impact journals, the NITTE Research Award, and the iADH Jan Andersson–Norinder Travel Bursary Award in recognition of her academic excellence and research contributions.

Dr. Saha has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in reputed national and international journals and has presented her research at several national and international scientific conferences. Her areas of interest include regenerative endodontics, pediatric endodontics, dental traumatology, special care dentistry, and evidence-based pediatric dental practice. An enthusiastic clinician, researcher, and educator, she is passionate about translating contemporary scientific evidence into practical clinical solutions that improve patient care and advance the field of pediatric dentistry.
