Dr. Varun Kunte

Dr. Varun Kunte, a distinguished oral medicine and maxillofacial radiology specialist, has made significant contributions to the field. As the founder and CEO of Arthrose Craniofacial Pain and TMJ Center in Mumbai, he has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive care to patients with craniofacial pain and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Kunte’s exceptional expertise has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious DTR certification, fellowship, and mastership in DTR. Currently, he serves as a DTR instructor, an honor bestowed upon only five doctors globally.

Furthermore, he is the only Indian doctor to have received a fellowship from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Additionally, he is the first Indian doctor to receive a Mini Residency in TMJ and Sleep Therapy under the mentorship of Dr. Steven Olmos.

Dr. Kunte has also received the Fellowship of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO). He completed a Mini Residency in TMJ pathology under the guidance of Dr. Marcelo Matos.

As Chief Faculty at the Fellowship of Craniofacial Pain and TMD conducted by IDA Education Academy since 2024, Dr. Kunte continues to contribute to the field through his expertise and dedication.

Dr. Kunte is an established speaker and key opinion leader in the areas of TMD, craniofacial pain, and has conducted numerous lectures, courses, and hands-on workshops in these fields.
