The Teething Milestone in your Baby

8 Ways to Soothe a Teething Baby

Introduction:

The first years of a baby’s life are filled with joyful milestones. The first word, the first step, the first time they say mama or dada – these are all moments you will remember for the rest of your life. Teething, on the other hand, can be both memorable and frightening.

When your child’s first baby tooth appears, it creates an odd quandary. On the one hand, you’re relieved that they’ve finally developed their first tiny tooth. The pain your child feels during this process, on the other hand, is not only terrible for them but can be agonising for you as well.

Even if they don’t experience much pain, it’s almost certain that they’ll have swollen and tender gums, some discomfort, and be irritable for a while.

You cannot avoid this pain because it is a natural process that every child must go through. You can, however, help to alleviate their discomfort by feeding them the foods listed below:

Watermelon:

One of the few fruits that (most) children enjoy, it is also excellent for relieving teething pain. It is cold and soft, making it easier to eat. Don’t remove the rind as an added bonus. It is completely edible and is ideal for gnawing on while teething.

Cucumber:

Because cucumbers are so versatile, they make excellent snacks. Cucumber slices can be eaten on their own or dipped in a variety of condiments such as hummus, yoghurt, salsa, pesto, and so on. Simply chop a few up and feed them whenever they want to eat something.

Frozen Blueberries:

Frozen blueberries are the ideal teething snack. So keep a few packs in your fridge and give one to your kids whenever they become too cranky or irritable from the teething pain.

Signs that your baby is teething:

The symptoms vary from baby to baby, but they may include:

Gums that are swollen and tender
Fussiness and tears
A slight rise in temperature (less than 101 F)
Gnawing or a desire to chew on something tough
They drool a lot, which can cause a rash on their face.
Hiccups
They are rubbing their cheeks or pulling on their ear.
They are putting their hands to their mouths.
Alterations in eating or sleeping habits
Tricks to soothe your childs’ teething pain:

Provide Chilled Fruit to YourBaby for Teething Relief
Soothe Sore Gums with a Cold Washcloth
Use a metal spoon to cool for an easy teething baby remedy.
Gently massage your baby’s gums
Provide your baby with a chilled, non-gel teething toy to chew on.
Wipe away the drool to avoid irritation.
Provide Your Baby with Plenty of Cuddles
Consult with your child’s doctor about medication.

My name is Hailey Garcia and I am from New Jersey. My herpes virus turned to war after 2 years of living with it. I have tried different medical procedures to cure my herpes but to no avail. Most people think herpes is only a minor skin irritation of which herpes has long term effects on health and passes through the bloodstream and can be easily contracted through sexual intercourse. I knew I had herpes from the first day I started feeling itchy in my pubic area and the pain was very unbearable. I couldn't stand it anymore. After 2 years of trying other means to get rid of it, I had to contact Doctor Odunga to help me with a permanent cure. I saw his email and whats-app number from a testimony I read online from a lady who was also helped by him in curing infertility problems, I had faith and contacted him. He assured me of his work and I ordered his herbal medicine. Within 5 days, I didn't feel any pain anymore and within 2 weeks, my skin was all cleared and smooth. I am very grateful to you sir and I write this testimony as others have done to bring those having faith to you sir. If you have herpes or other similar disease and you want it cured, kindly contact Doctor Odunga, Whats-App (wa.me/+2348167159012) OR Email [email protected]
