An implant prosthesis will be only as good as the impression that was recorded. Impressions can be broadly divided into analog and digital impressions. This presentation will be on the different types of analog impressions. Impressions can be classified into 1. Fixture level impressions 2. Abutment level impressions. They can also be classified according to the type of Impression coping and Impression tray used into Open tray impressions and closed tray impressions. Videos of these impression techniques on patients and models will be shown.
