National Oral Health Policy

Objective: To enhance the oral healthcare delivery system at all levels, providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the significance of equity, integration, community participation, gender considerations, prevention and promotion strategies, and research in the context of oral health.
  2. Gain insights into the strengthening of oral healthcare delivery systems.
  3. Explore the role and importance of community participation in fostering effective oral healthcare.

  1. Preventive Measures:
    • Explore and implement preventive measures in oral healthcare to reduce the incidence of oral diseases.
    • Understand the role of education and awareness in promoting preventive oral health practices.

2.  Participation of Dental Professionals in Oral Healthcare Policy Making:

  • Examine the involvement of dental professionals in the formulation and implementation of oral healthcare policies.

3.  NCD Research:
