The covid-19 pandemic has been sweeping across the globe, causing various life-threatening complications of mucormycosis of pns & maxilla. Early diagnosis & aggressive Debridement with antifungal agents & a multidisciplinary approach is vital for a better prognosis.
The speakers (Dr. Sanjay Asnani & Dr. Vipin Dehane) have diagnosed almost 25 cases of post-covid-19 mucormycosis of pns & maxilla with a survival rate of nearly 90 percent. This presentation includes various surgical & medical aspects as treatment modalities for Fungal infection.
