How to select the right Toothbrush for your child

How to select the right Toothbrush for your child
Your child’s Oral Hygiene should be your utmost priority. Lack of Oral Hygiene Education given to kids results in majority of the early stage Oral Problems like Tooth Decay, Deposition of Plaque, a sticky bacterium which gets accumulated due to tiny food particles, bad breath amongst kids, unhealthy food habits etc. The most shocking fact is that that Oral Hygiene should be started right from the time the child is started breastfeeding. Parents should begin by regularly cleaning their new born baby’s gums with a damp washcloth after all feedings (breast or bottle). This is very rarely practised in majority of the countries. Below are the steps on how to select the Right Tooth Brush for your child’s healthy Oral Hygiene.

With so many Brands in the market, it becomes extremely confusing and difficult to select the right toothbrush for your child, the thumb rule is that the toothbrush should fit easily in your child’s mouth. Many a times Parents fail to select the right size causing difficulty to brush teeth. A brush with soft bristles made of a round-ended or polished material will keep your child’s teeth clean and will also prevent the damage of gums.

Once your child is 2 years and above s(he) would want to Brush teeth by themselves. At this age Choose a toothbrush with a small head and a soft grip that will be easy for your child to hold. A child between the age group of 5-8 years can do a better job of brushing and hence while selecting a toothbrush for a child under the age category of 5-8 years select a brush with slimmer handles because older children have more dexterity than toddlers. Many toothbrushes for children in this age range are decorated with popular TV and movie characters, animals, and other fun designs. Choose a toothbrush your child likes so that he or she will look forward to using it. Children above the age group of 8 years and above Kids can brush their teeth themselves. Toothbrushes for older children are like adult toothbrushes, but the heads are slightly smaller, and the handles are larger. A preadolescent child can use either a manual or electric toothbrush. Both do an equally good job of cleaning teeth, but a powered toothbrush may be easier for a child to use.

Some good habits you can help you child Follow
Brush your teeth twice daily to maintain a very healthy Oral Hygiene
Floss once a day either Before breakfast or after Dinner.
Replace your toothbrush in 90 days or as soon as you see the bristles start fraying out and fail to stand up straight.
Give your child his/her freedom to choose the brush they want to which might have some cartoon character of their choice. This increases easy participation from the child.
Follow the age guidelines on the package of the toothbrush which would make your work very easy in selecting the right toothbrush.

My name is Hailey Garcia and I am from New Jersey. My herpes virus turned to war after 2 years of living with it. I have tried different medical procedures to cure my herpes but to no avail. Most people think herpes is only a minor skin irritation of which herpes has long term effects on health and passes through the bloodstream and can be easily contracted through sexual intercourse. I knew I had herpes from the first day I started feeling itchy in my pubic area and the pain was very unbearable. I couldn't stand it anymore. After 2 years of trying other means to get rid of it, I had to contact Doctor Odunga to help me with a permanent cure. I saw his email and whats-app number from a testimony I read online from a lady who was also helped by him in curing infertility problems, I had faith and contacted him. He assured me of his work and I ordered his herbal medicine. Within 5 days, I didn't feel any pain anymore and within 2 weeks, my skin was all cleared and smooth. I am very grateful to you sir and I write this testimony as others have done to bring those having faith to you sir. If you have herpes or other similar disease and you want it cured, kindly contact Doctor Odunga, Whats-App (wa.me/+2348167159012) OR Email [email protected]
