Management Of Medically Compromised Patients

Almost all oral surgical procedures are invasive procedures, so it is very important to not only recognize the evidence of compromised health but also be prepared for any medical complication that may arise during the course of treatment .Most of the patients may appear physically fit and may present for routine dental treatment. As dentists, it is our responsibility to be able to identify such patients, be aware of the risks and complications and modify our routine dental treatment plan so as to avoid an emergency situation.
