Quality Management at Implant Genesis – Anupama

Implant Genesis is an upcoming Indian Dental Manufacturing Company. Anupama the Quality Analyst at Implant Genesis takes us through various quality management steps undertaken in the manufacturing of an implant.

Step 1 – Manufacturing which undergoes through Milling, Threading and Shaping
Step 2 – Primary Cleaning which incorporates ultrasonic waterfall treatment for drying.
Step 3 – Blasting – The most critical process as the Implant surface is made Rough
Step 4 – Secondary Cleaning – it involves certain treatments to remove the remnant hydroxyapatite
Step 5 – DI water Treatment – its an isopropanol treatment followed by dry treatment to ensure no remnant hydroxyapatite is left
Step 6 – Primary Packing – Implant is tightly packed and sealed in a bottle.
Step 7 – Secondary Packing with all the instructions for use

All the above processes are done inside a clean room. Primary Cleaning, Blasting, Secondary Cleaning and Primary Packing which are the most critical process are under Iso Class 7 which is isolated from rest of area with the help of an Air Lock System.
