Scholarship Launch

The scholarship was launched during the annual Delhi Dental show on 16^th of July 2022, in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. L. Swasticharan (Additional Deputy Director General of Health Services) and Guest of Honour, Lt. Gen. Satish R Iyer (Director General Dental Services) along with Dr. Puneet Girdhar (IDA President), Dr. Ashok Dhoble (Hon. Sec. General IDA), Ms Anurita Chopra (BU Marketing Lead ISC) and other distinguished dignitaries from IDA.

Eligibility

• Open for students pursuing 1^st year of BDS from Govt. dental colleges of India.
• Annual family income must not exceed INR 8 lakhs from all sources.
• Applicants must have scored a min 60 % marks in previous semester/ course.
• Children or family members of employees of GSK, Goodera, IDA, Buddy4study are not eligible.
• Students from pan India can apply.
• Students are required to continue to score 60% and above in all 4 years of BDS to continue receiving the scholarship.

Selection Criteria

• Students higher in merit and financial need would get preference
• Mandatory telephonic interview by Buddy4study or IDA prior to final selection.
• Final decision about selection will only be made by IDA or Buddy4study
