The restoration of endodontically treated teeth, particularly those with extensive coronal tissue loss, remains a significant clinical challenge. Conventional post-and-core restorations with full-coverage crowns have long been considered a standard treatment option; however, they may require additional removal of sound tooth structure and can present challenges in teeth with compromised coronal support. Endocrowns have emerged as a minimally invasive, adhesive alternative that combines the core and crown into a single restoration, utilizing the pulp chamber for retention and support.
Through evidence-based concepts and clinical insights, this presentation aims to provide practitioners with a practical understanding of endocrowns as a conservative restorative option for selected endodontically treated teeth. The webinar will also address common clinical challenges, potential complications, and strategies to improve the predictability and longevity of these restorations.
