vhf camfacture AG announces partnership with DSD and founder Dr. Christian Coachman at IDS

vhf camfacture AG has officially announced a partnership with Digital Smile Design – DSD for short – at IDS, the world’s leading trade fair for the dental industry. The common goal of the full-range supplier of dental milling machines and the innovative training and service company headed by Dr. Christian Coachman: to drive the digital future of the dental industry and to make dental workflows even more efficient. The starting signal for the now joint path was given on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 at the IDS in Cologne and was celebrated together with DSD at the vhf booth.

Dr. Christian Coachman, founder and CEO of DSD is pleased about the partnership and future close cooperation with vhf: “We are convinced that CAD/CAM-fabricated restorations in the DSD concept offer real added value and we know that vhf provides us with the best technology for this. With milling machines from vhf, complex work can be mastered in the laboratory on the one hand and perfect solutions for the patient can be produced chairside on the other.”

DSD helps dentists and dental technicians to realize comprehensive digital care at the highest level. In doing so, DSD, which is both an education and service company, focuses on three core areas: comprehensive treatment planning, incorporating technologies for improved clinical outcomes and, creating a unique patient experience. Based on this philosophy, DSD intends to pool its expertise together with vhf and develop competencies in the aforementioned three areas. Thus, the partnership between DSD and vhf will enable modern dentists to expand their portfolio by offering chairside milling applications and to make work processes significantly more efficient. In addition, dental laboratories will be enabled to offer supporting solutions for dentists.

Dr. Nicolas Rohde, Chief Strategy Officer at vhf camfacture AG: “We are very pleased about the newly established partnership with the globally renowned DSD under the leadership of Dr. Coachman. The DSD concept is unique and is practiced globally by a large number of dentists. Together, DSD and vhf will demonstrate new ways for faster, better treatment results that will inspire patients and practitioners alike.”
