About Speaker
Dr. Saloni Mistry has graduated from GDC Mumbai 1997 and completed her Masters from Nair Hospital Dental College 1999. Currently she heads the Dept. of Prosthodontics at Dr G D Pol Foundation Y.M.T Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai. She has an academic and clinical experience of 23 years to her credit. She has also been a post graduate guide for the last 13 years. She has been an EC member of the Indian Prosthodontic Society (2016- 2022). She has also been the founder editor, treasurer, Secretary and now the President of the IPS Mumbai – Navi Mumbai branch. She is a mentor for MUHS affiliated Implantology Program at YMT Dental College. She has been awarded the - Famdent Excellence in Dentistry Award
(Special Jury Award) for the Best Academician of the Year 2019. She has been a keynote speaker for national conferences and PG conventions and has numerous publications under her name. She is in the Advisory committee for the Dr. Aruna Mehta Research Scholarship Award patronized by Dr. Shanker Iyer under the aegis of Indian Prosthodontic Society which
inspires the young research minds of India. Teaching as well as learning has been a passion in her life. She specialises
in creating esthetic realism in prosthodontic rehabilitation She believes in “Be The Change You Want To See In This World”.
About Host
Dr. Divya Sawant has completed her MDS Prosthodontics and is a proud alumnus of YMT Dental College. She is the recipient of the prestigious All India Dr. Aruna Mehta Research Scholarship Award 2023 under the guidance of her guide, Professor, and Head of Department, Dr. Saloni Mistry in collaboration with Dr. Kavita Pal, Scientist at Advanced Tata Cancer Research Institute. She has also won Dental Hackathon 2021 organized by Tech Bharat Pan India for developing an innovative 3D
printed Aerodam to contain aerosol spread and safeguard infection control in COVID-19 suspect in collaboration with Imaginarium labs. She is currently working as a Consultant Prosthodontist as well as providing dental treatment to underserved communities in collaboration with Udaan Welfare Foundation. Apart from this, she is a food blogger and successfully runs her blog on Instagram. She believes that our life is what our thoughts make it!
