This is a comprehensive full immersion implant training programme with model hands-on and on-patient implant clinical procedures with constant mentor guidance with live surgical demonstrations by the faculty.

This course delivers topics like

3. Patient evaluation for implant treatment
4. Bone density
5. Step-by-step implant surgical protocols
6. Most aspects of restorative steps of implant
7. Advanced procedures like sinus grafting, GBR and soft tissue augmentation and more.

It will be a unique experience of learning Implant Dentistry with almost its entire panorama.

Objective

The objective of this programme is hand holding the clinicians enthusiastic about learning Implant Dentistry from a scratch to high level of competence to be able to deliver implant skills in their clinical practice.

FEATURING Surgical Protocol and PROSTHETICS

MODULE --- I (3 Days) LECTURE/DISCUSSION

1^st to 3^rd July 2022 

• Overview of ‘History of Dental Implants’ from its origin to the Present Day
• Classification of Bone, Bone Density, and Available Bone
• Various types of Implants and their indications
• Factors affecting wound healing, crown to implant ratio, and bone to Implant interface.
• Case selection
• Medical evaluation
• Dental evaluation
• Radiological evaluation
• Diagnosis & Treatment Planning
• Sterilization protocol
• Digital Guides and planning.

LIVE SURGERY (Over the Shoulder)

• Pre-surgery Patient Preparation
• Observe a surgical case, “step by step”, including live sterile set-up.
• Techniques, surgical placement of implant(s) and suturing techniques
• Post-surgery Protocol and follow-up instructions

HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

After viewing the surgery, participants will go through the skills demonstrated and apply the principles in a surgical Hands-on workshop. Participants will place implants in Patients.

MODULE --- II (3 Days) Rules of loading, including progressive loading

15^th to 17^th September 2022

• Implant Uncovering (Conventional and LASER assisted)
• Cover screw removal
• Healing abutment placement
• Dressings

HANDS ON WORKSHOP

Apply the prosthetics skills and component parts selection, learned in the session, on an implant model and patient’s mouth under supervised guidance.

LIVE PROSTHETICS

See live prosthetics stages on actual patients, where you will learn the techniques of transfers, impressions (Incliuding Digital impression), abutment selection (including MUA), placing of abutments, and preparation of abutments and insertion of final prosthesis.

2^nd to 4^th December 2022

• Principle of Augmentation, types of graft material, membrane & graft selection.
• Immediate Extraction & Placement.
• Sinus Augmentation-Principles and Practice
• Guided Bone regeneration
• Ridge/Socket Preservation
• Soft tissue Augmentation
• Ridge Split Technique, Bone Expansion & Osseodensification
• Ultra Surgery
