OBJECTIVE :
After completing this lecture the participant should be able to know more about implant assisted overdentures starting from treatment planning to the final result desired.
Implant assisted overdenture possesses several advantages: bone density increased when implant inserted and loaded, maintenance of bone volume is gained when implant inserted, setting of artificial teeth with more esthetics & phonetics, allow use of cantilever (posterior or anterior) and finally very stable jaw relation registration.
