Oral Health. Regular maintenance for a healthy lifestyle

A gateway to your complete oral health
Although a commonly known fact but quite often neglected too is the importance of oral hygiene. It goes without a say that mouth is the gateway to a person’s body, perhaps it becomes of utmost importance to take due dental care. Gum diseases have been known to cause heart diseases, tongue complications indicate various underlying issues and the list goes on and on. To sum it up, we can say that a healthy mouth leads to a healthy body!

8 ways to a gateway for your complete oral health

Brushing and flossing contribute to just the starters of dental care, which does not mean it’s enough. Here are a few simple daily steps you can incorporate in your routine to ensure a forever healthy mouth!

Day and night just brush it right!
Brushing isn’t just an activity, it’s a whole process. From knowing the type of toothbrushes to be used to the brushing technique. We need to keep it all in mind. The fact that brushing after dinner is the most important of all the times isn’t emphasized on enough. So, grab a high-quality toothbrush and brush it well at least twice a day! Look up for videos on the internet on the right techniques for brushing. It’s not just about brushing, but also brushing the right way is very important

Drink it up!
It is not something unheard of when we mention drinking a lot of water daily. But did you know drinking water has a connection to dental health too? Drinking plenty of water helps in washing away leftover food, helps you swallow with ease and keeps your teeth strong by washing them with calcium, phosphate and fluoride. It also helps in keeping your mouth away from being dry mouth

Say no to spice!
Who would’ve thought that eating spicy could harm our teeth? Well, Spicy food per se does not harm our teeth rather it causes acid reflux which causes tooth and enamel erosion. It is also said that lighter meals at night are healthier, not just for your body but for a good breath too.

You need that fluoride!
Fluoride helps in strengthening our teeth and gums. Not just in kids but in adults too. Brushing with fluoride toothpaste in circular motions till you don’t sense a bad odour is the correct way to go about it.

Don’t forget to Gargle
It is very important to make sure that there are no leftover food particles in your mouth as they are the best breeding and feeding ground for all the bacteria in your mouth and undoubtedly the root to all your dental worries. Make sure that you gargle post every meal

Just Floss it out!
Flossing your teeth at least once a day is a very important activity. It removes the food particles that a brush or even a mouth wash couldn’t remove. Flossing also prevents the accumulation of plaque.

Say no to Sugar and Soda
Soda and Sugar are no doubt the biggest enemies to your oral health. The acidic properties of sugar and soda erode both the teeth and enamel leading to tooth decay and gum infections too

Do Not Ignore!
Even the slightest discomfort and pain could be an indication of an Oral health hazard and ignoring it would be the biggest mistake. Do not ignore any signs even if they are painless. It could be bad breath, tongue discolouration, tooth pain or some issues with your gums. It is important to visit your dentist and get your teeth checked to be on a safer side.

Ask for a Yearly Dental Check-up Subscription
We are all paranoid when it comes to electronic devices at our homes. The Air Conditioners get a nice maintenance work on them quarterly! If an air-conditioner can be maintained in every quarter why is it so difficult for us to take care of our teeth? Ask your dentist to provide you a yearly check-up subscription wherein you would be visiting the dentist once every quarter. This way you are seeing your dentist four times in a year and that’s a great number comparing to just one yearly visit. You don’t even have to worry about appointments as most of the dental clinics are now equipped with a practice management system from which you will be well notified on your scheduled quarterly appointment with your dentist

Final Note

It is very important to keep your oral health intact. From your gums, teeth to your tongue all of them contribute to your overall well-being. Your oral health is the window to overall health, you shouldn’t risk neglecting it. It would be a grave mistake to ignore any signals and not consult a dentist. Remember if you hide the early symptoms then be ready to shell out large amounts on complex dental procedures .

My name is Hailey Garcia and I am from New Jersey. My herpes virus turned to war after 2 years of living with it. I have tried different medical procedures to cure my herpes but to no avail. Most people think herpes is only a minor skin irritation of which herpes has long term effects on health and passes through the bloodstream and can be easily contracted through sexual intercourse. I knew I had herpes from the first day I started feeling itchy in my pubic area and the pain was very unbearable. I couldn't stand it anymore. After 2 years of trying other means to get rid of it, I had to contact Doctor Odunga to help me with a permanent cure. I saw his email and whats-app number from a testimony I read online from a lady who was also helped by him in curing infertility problems, I had faith and contacted him. He assured me of his work and I ordered his herbal medicine. Within 5 days, I didn't feel any pain anymore and within 2 weeks, my skin was all cleared and smooth. I am very grateful to you sir and I write this testimony as others have done to bring those having faith to you sir. If you have herpes or other similar disease and you want it cured, kindly contact Doctor Odunga, Whats-App (wa.me/+2348167159012) OR Email [email protected]
