The Essentials of Guided Bone Regeneration 2.0

The Essentials of Guided Bone Regeneration 2.0” is a course curated for dental surgeons who are already placing implants in their day-to-day clinical practice. This course will cover the entire spectrum of Hard & Soft tissue regeneration and augmentation over the 3 days.

It is a three-day course and the course of events are as follows:

Objective of course

• Understanding the biology and anatomy of surgical sites.
• Understanding the principles of GBR.
• Learning the intricacies of use of biomaterials.
• Learning the techniques to increase keratinised tissue around implants and regenerated bone.

• Biology, principles of GBR, Applied Anatomy
• Patient selection and diagnosis
• Detailed discussion on each step involved in GBR
• Management of tissues in aesthetic zones- single tooth and multiple teeth defects
• Block grafting
• Khoury technique
• Sausage technique
• Vertical augmentation techniques- case discussion
• Soft tissue augmentation techniques

>Afternoon session

• Hands-on on Animal Jaws

>>Day 2: Morning session

• Management of GBR complications
• Ridge split techniques
• Osseodensification
• Sinus lifts

>Afternoon Session:

• Live Surgery demonstration- 1

>>Day 3:

• Live Surgery demonstration- 2
