TMJ – An overview

Objectives:  

The objective of the webinar is to provide a comprehensive information about the concept of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and its associated disorders, classification, investigations and evidence-based treatment modalities of them.

What will be learnt:

  • Anatomy of TMJ and currently followed classification of the TMJ disorders
  • How to diagnose a TMD
  • When to treat a TMD and when not to treat
  • Evidence-based management of TMD

Subtopics:

  • What is TMJ and its types
  • Investigations necessary to diagnose TMD
  • Surgical and non-surgical management of TMD
